About our Aircraft

THE BEAVER
The classic DeHavilland Beaver is a true Canadian legend and is a part of our fleet. These Beavers feature:

  • 6 passenger or 1200 pound payload
  • 450 horsepower Pratt and Whitney 985 radial engine
  • Edo 4580 floats

Over 1600 Beavers were built during a production run that ended in 1967, and they have served in a variety of applications both civilian and military in nature. Custom remanufacturing will allow this rugged floatplane to keep going long into the future.

THE TURBINE OTTER NEW

Another Canadian classic DeHavilland aircraft originally called the "King Beaver".

  • 14 passengers or 2600 pound payload.
  • Single engine 750 horsepower PT6 Turbine Pratt and Whitney.
  • Edo 8100 floats

Of the original 466 Otters built between 1951 and 1967, less than 200 are still around. Originally powered by 600hp Pratt & Whitney Wasp radial engines, most have been converted to Turbine.

THE BEECH 18
The Beech 18 is one of the most popular planes ever built, featuring:

  • 9 passenger or 1800 pound payload
  • Two 450 horsepower Pratt and Whitney 985 radial engines
  • Edo 7850 floats

Beechcraft built over 9,000 Beech 18s during a production run that ended in 1969.
